Chesterton is on point as always. The common man's traditions are constantly berated by the elites, as if the elites' way of life is the proper one, even though many of the elites have not had to live like the common man has had to live. They do not understand their struggles nor relate to them. There will always be a gap there, but it would be eased with more understanding and connection between the two. Excellent post.

Truth is timeless.

Apparently, mankind is given to advancing itself beyond truth.

We can no longer call out the absurdities embraced by an 'enlightened' class of sycophants. What was mental illness for ages is now normalized and aggressively pushed by a malfeasant AMA seeking to destroy our young.

As an educator, I have seen the common sense approach of discipline, basic principles of education and work eschewed by powers that make policies for classrooms from ivory tower inhabitants far removed from and too smart for the classroom.

Evil is called good and good evil. It's as if Paul was writing under the inspiration of The Holy Spirit when he warned of times to come.
